Social networking and writing
I did a little experiment on myself to see if I could limit my social networking in December. I stayed off of Facebook except to get the locations of my holiday parties, and linked Twitter to send any updates to Facebook. I found that I had more time on my hands.
It's now January 8th and I have been on Facebook and Twitter for only about an hour since the 1st. If I started to wonder what a friend was up to I sent them an email directly, or called them. I found how nice it was to actually hear someones voice when you talk to them again. If I want to talk to a bunch of my friends at once, I invite them to all go out to a bar or cafe.
Time
I've been spending much less time on the interwebs. If you need to reach me it will be faster to email my real email address.
